She didn't want me to even post them, but whatever, she waited like a year to get these wheels on, might as well be proud of them.

Oh, this is the big secret? Some secret, I saw those wheels in your living room about a year ago...

Anyways, the picture link doesn't work for me. Upload it as an attachment.

Just a question.... How much does a VW run at Bart's Flea Market?

 I'm assuming you noticed what I noticed when I saved that pic after I did all the resizing in photoshop... that the Bart's Flea Market looks like a digital watermark on the picture.

No it will never have BBS. I would rather spend 3000 on turbo upgrades than wheels.

Haha. They are pricey. To each their own. I figure, if someone has the money to blow that much on rims, they probably have enough money to blow that much on the motor.

I had bbs's on my s2000 and well loved them for thier appeal and light weight. Fucking freaked from the scratch i got in the first week from shit on the roads of the canyons. I've had 2k+ rims on my last two cars and i will never do that again period. ultra light good but just not worth it when there are wheels that come within a pound or two that are 1/4 the price. That and when you spend more time shopping for tires that are just as light yet perform well it just gets nuts. Falken azenis are some heavy bitches

Nice clean wheels. Looks good Teets' wife. Well, about as good as a V-Dub can look anyway.

Yeah, I try not to spend much on wheels. Not really worth it in my opinion, especially if you're just going to mount street radials. The 18s I got for my Cobra were $600 new including shipping and they look/work great. I spent a lot more on the tires. The Bogarts I have my slicks mounted on were over $1000, though. That hurt, but there aren't many companies making a nice wheel in a 16" diameter with the width and backspacing I needed (brakes are too big to use 15s).
